MIZAN-UAE is accounting software for construction companies in the UAE. Each customer company gets its own installation and its own database. This policy explains what information the app holds and how it is used.

Who controls the data

The company that subscribes to MIZAN-UAE ("your company") decides what is entered and who can use it. Your company's admin creates every user account. We, the developer, provide and host the software for your company.

What information is stored

• User accounts: name, email address, role, and a securely hashed password (never the password itself).
• Company records: company name and logo, projects, invoices, bills, payments, journal entries, VAT and tax figures.
• Employee records entered by your company for payroll (WPS) and end-of-service: name, labour card number, bank IBAN and agent ID, salary, join and exit dates, and optionally nationality, Emirates ID, passport number and document expiry dates.
• Licence details: your company name, plan, number of users and licence dates.

How it is used

Only to run the app for your company: keeping the books, producing reports, generating WPS salary files and calculating gratuity. We do not sell data, show advertising, or use the data for any other purpose.

Cookies and tracking

The app uses one sign-in cookie to keep you logged in. There are no advertising or analytics trackers.

Where it is stored and who can see it

• Data is stored in your company's own database with our hosting providers (application hosting and a PostgreSQL database service). Connections are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS).
• Inside your company, what each user can see or change depends on the role your admin gives them.
• Our developer control panel holds only licence and contact details. It does not connect to your company's accounting data.
• We share data only if required by UAE law, or with your company's instruction.

How long it is kept

For as long as your company uses MIZAN-UAE. UAE law generally requires businesses to keep accounting records for several years, so your company decides when records can be deleted. When a subscription ends, your company can ask for an export and for its data to be deleted (see Delete account or data).

Children

MIZAN-UAE is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top is updated.
